Mermaid Tail Succulent 🧜🌿 is loved for its crested fan-like growth that looks almost like a rippling tail, giving it a weird, sculptural look that stands out fast in a succulent collection. It does best in very bright light indoors or outdoors in warm weather, where the crest stays tighter and the color stays nicest on a sunny shelf or patio. This is an easy succulent overall, but like most crested forms it does best with a light hand and fast-draining soil rather than frequent watering. Pro tip: if the growth starts stretching or losing that wavy compact shape, it usually wants more sun and less water 💧.
